Preemie who?

So. Baby Jay is now a little turkey. Mr. Turkey Lurkey is now out of preemie clothing and wearing newborn size clothing and even some 0-3 months stuff. He is super long and just turned three weeks old. We have now reached what should have been his actual birth date, and he is already doing great. With three chins and a turkey tummy---he looks so different from the baby we bought home from the hospital.

The BIG bug!

Okay. I just want to give the biggest thank you ever to bigdaddy for bringing home the nastiest, family shared, fluid producing stomache virus ever. I mean, really----where would we be now if we weren't trapped on the toilet, running home for emergency clothing changes, vomiting in our car seats(on the couch, the floor, the crib, in the grocery store, on big daddy, on mommy, on the changing pad, on the ottoman, in the kitchen, on the counter and in the sink of our local grocery store) and pooping through packs of toliet paper and pampers and pull ups. Hmm. What would we ever do? We would surely miss having temperatures and being in the emergency room till 3 am, and of course aren't those rectal thermometers good clean fun for every baby and toddler. Hmmm---thnking of that has anyone seen our under the arm thermometer or oral thermometer ? if so, please tell them to return to out medicine cabinet before flu and cold season hits because I for one will die of a temperature before I submit myself to such cruel and unnatural abuse of using the rectal thermometer. That door is shut(and glued)lol. So again---than you Rey for the wonderful family share plan stomach virus, "You're the best" and don't let anybody tell you differently.

Some one call the Civil Rights Commision

OK I am here to bring to the worlds attention an egregious, reprehensible, blatant act of discrimination on the part of the clothing industry. Since Jay coming to our family we have been shopping for clothes for now and later, because we had NOTHING FOR BOY or even for a baby because Robbyn sold most of Laylah's smaller outfits, there is no variety in boys clothes. The girl sections are larger, better stocked, and with more variety.

Why should we be concerned you say? Well for starters they are feeding into the stereotypes of girls being clothes horses and that boys don't care about their appearance. Secondly parents such as myself are not given many choices. There are plenty of things they can do for boys especially in the department of shirts. They can play with patterns, colors etc but they choose not to. I feel violated and like second class citizen. We need to call the ACLU, NAACP, Civil Rights Commission, Media, and anyone else that can help us fight the atrocity. I propose a class action suit against the major manufactures, designers, and clothing distributors.
